Rent a Boat in Kefalonia & Private Cruises

Highly recommended. We have rented boats here a few times now and enjoyed another great experience in 2025. We popped in on the Monday and they looked at the weather forecast (wind) in some detail before advising that Wednesday had the best weather. 5 of us on a boat big enough for 6 for €260 for the day (9am - 5pm). Simple paperwork and then met at the harbour a couple of hundred metres from the office, some quick but comprehensive instructions and a quick test drive out of and back into the harbour for me and we were off for the day. Plenty of storage space in the boat for our bags and food (bring plenty of drinks and picnic for the day!) We all had a go at driving which was really nice and having motored south we found some beautifully deserted coves which we had all to ourselves and were only accessible by boat. Some amazing swimming and snorkelling - diving straight off the boat. One of the highlights of our Kefalonia holidays again - highly recommended!

We hired a small 30HP boat for the day. It was a superb BRS 500, with sun shade canopy and was absolutely perfect for the four of us, for the full day. You can cover some distance up the coast. The staff were really pleasant and at one point, they even came to check that we weren’t lost. In fairness, we had gone a little bit off piste, due to having some good local knowledge. I would highly recommend this company. They came back to as much quicker than another company we approached in the same area. 10 out of 10..

So I waltzed up and asked if they had a boat free same day thinking my chances were pretty low but they managed to get me out and cruising along the coast in no time at all. Great team and so helpful. Thanks' guys.

Such a great day out, the freedom of hiring your own boat is amazing; compared to the organised trips which can be a bit hectic and rushed. This allows you to take your own time, and stop where you want. The boats are easy to use and clean with the team behind very helpful from the beginning. Don’t forget to pack some snacks or lunch which you can store in the cool box!

Superb day at sea. We rented a boat for the day and the whole process was a pleasure.. From the initial booking to the return of the boat everything was seamless. The owner spent as much time as you required giving instructions on use of the boat and where to go. Highly recommend .

My partner and I hired the Ribeye 7.8 for the day and had a beautiful time exploring the eastern coastline. Although the GPS/sounder system was broken, John explained the treacherous areas around Skala and we felt confident navigating the waters. Would recommend hiring a boat on the island to anyone with boating experience, it gave us a completely unique opportunity to explore and we had the most magic day. Thank you!

Great experience. Yiannis gave quick responses and full details from initial enquiry to the training before we took the boat out, also a laminated map and confirmation of instructions. Thoroughly recommended; we had a super day!

We had a great morning on the boat with Angelos. All around the south side of the island exploring the caves and stopping off at different secluded beaches for a swim and snorkeling. The kids absolutely loved it. Would recommend it to anyone looking to go out on a trip for 3-4hours doing something a bit different.

We hired a rib with skipper for the day. It was definitely a highlight of our trip to Kefalonia, we went to lots of small coves for swimming/snorkelling. Then we headed to a small cove for lunch, a canteena set up on the beach serving souvlaki and salad, delicious! Booking and communication was really easy and would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed a perfect day on a boat that fit 5 people. The boat was wonderfully equipped. We received excellent service from Yiannis who gave us all the information we needed. Definitely one of the highlights of our vacation

Fantastic day out. My wife and I were really looked after. We were taken to some beautiful beaches only accessible from the sea and had an amazing barbacue fish lunch on one of them. One more thing. Yiannis our boat captain was so kind in helping me get in and out of the boat from the sea with my dodgy arthritic leg. So a big thank you to him. All in all a wonderful day that will live long in the memory

This was a simply outstanding day out. Very highly rated indeed and Yiannis was very knowledgeable and friendly. Skipper Andreas looked after us brilliantly and took us to magical bays and beaches. Ask him to show you Amanda Beach, Goat Bay and Lonely Hermit Cove. You will NOT be disappointed!! We will be back for more!

I regret not renting a boat earlier! This was our first time on a private rented boat and it was absolutely best highlight from our Kefalonia vacation! Yannis and the team were very helpful in making sure we feel safe and educated about our sail. I can 100% recommend and if I visit Kefalonia again, I will definitely use their services again. Overall very good experience, excellent boat, we recommend to rent a boat here and explore Kefalonia. We will definitely repeat it next year 🙂 We have reserved a boat for one day, but weather was very bad and we could not sail. Owner offered us to return deposit or to move reservation for some other day. He managed to find a boat although almost all was already reserved. Everything worked well, oil consumption charged ok Beaches are very nice in south Kefalonia and most of them can be aproached only by boat - there are not many people on the beaches, some empty, some used by naturists.

Fantastic service from the team and very helpful putting our mind at ease giving us sone training around the harbour before we were set off on our own..we recently rented a 30hp boat called Elena and it was brilliant taking us to place that you can't reach by road.We rented twice within our 2 week stay and we actually got the same boat which was nice. I highly recommend renting from Yianni who was super friendly at a good price. Thankyou team

Excellent boat hire company. We rented a 6 man boat 115hp for a day from Yannis (Sea Breeze) based in Katelios for €290 plus fuel at €70. We had boat licenced driver with us, which meant we could get a better boat. He spent time showing our "skipper" where everything was and took him for a "test" drive before letting us go. He also showed us some good places to go round the coast. We had hoped to go up the north side of the Island but as the wind was the wrong way, he advised us to go along the South coast instead. Great service.

My family and I rented one of their boats to explore the south coast of Kefalonia and would highly recommend the experience! Despite having no sailing experience everything was well explained to us and the customer service was impeccable making us feel very confident and allowing us to relax and enjoy our surroundings. The price is also very reasonable which makes renting one of their boats an obvious choice if you want to explore the stunning natural coastline and unbelievable crystal clear waters.

Fantastic day out. The staff explained the boat well and gave good advice on places to visit. Our rental was from 9.30 to 4.30 which allowed plenty of time to stop, swim, and get lunch. Price seemed fair but remember that fuel is an extra.

Awesome experience out on the boat exploring the south coast. The owner was really friendly and helpful. They recommended places to go and made sure we knew how to drive and dock the boat before heading out.

Fantastic boating experience. The owner is very friendly, and was very helpful in making sure we got the most out of our trip. I also liked that he was very concerned with the safety of operating the boat, taking time to ensure we understood it.

Oltre alla cortesia tipica del popolo greco, ho apprezzato molto la professionalità nel descrivere l’utilizzo corretto della barca e lo stato della barca, perfettamente pulita ed in ordine. Had a great day beach hopping with one of Yianni's boats. Very straight forward just book in the office on the corner of the square in Katelios - Get your google maps on and head for "Denis" in Trapezaki for lunch nice and easy to anchor up at the beach there - not all of the locations on the coast are easy to moor up but we did find a few none rocky beaches to pull up at. A really great experience anyway and we will hopefully see you guys again next year thanks.

Aber die Bewertung von Herrn Job van der Stokker finde ich unfair sogar böswillig, ist doch klar das die Firma Ihre Regeln und Bedingungen hat und danach handelt Sie auch, eine Reservierung kann erst dann vorgenommen werden sobald ein Abschlag gezahlt worden ist, und solange das nicht getätigt wurde ist doch klar das es Online zur Verfügung steht und Reserviert werden kann

Yiannis was lovely and friendly, we loved meeting him! He made sure we knew exactly what we were doing with the boat before we went out and he met us on our return at the harbour. Really great email coms before hand and great value. Really fun day out on the sea would 100% recommend.

Great day out ! Rented a boat 9am-4pm which was €140 plus €45 for fuel , got to see a good lot of the south coast of kefalonia , managed to get the anchor stuck which wasn’t a problem for these guys they came and rescued us ! Really friendly service, definitely recommend it !

very kind guy with his wife - fair prices for good boats up to 250 horsepower. We hit the engine propeller - even with this damage, he charged us just a small amount on top to change it. Just recommendable!!!

We could not reccomend Yiannis boat hire more! We hired a boat for 2 people and had an amazing day. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and ensured we had a perfect day. The boat was lovely, we were shown how to use it and the best places to go, we even saw the seal in the caves and flying fish. All of the staff were amazing, so out of any boat hire in Kefalionia, I would reccomend hiring a boat from them. We stayed in skala and got a taxi to Yiannis and it was definitely worth while.
